WiSe 19/20: Race and Class in US Society
Markus Kienscherf
Comments
In this seminar, we will interrogate the ways in which intersections of race and class have shaped and continue to shape US society. We will look at a variety of ways in which the relations between race and class have been conceptualized - e.g. Critical Race Theory, Afro-pessimism, (Post-)Marxism and Intersectionality - in order to examine how these relations have structured and continue to structure central areas of US socio-economic and political life. close
