Participants will visit classical exposures of the Semail Ophiolite, in Oman where a complete section of obducted oceanic lithosphere is exposed, allowing direct assessment of serpentinization and obduction processes. We will also visit outcrops of the Precambrian shield of the Arabian Plate. close
