        Content Paleoclimatology:
Present current knowledge about evolution of Earth climates from the deep past till present and existing understanding of the mechanisms of past climate changes will be presented. First different empirical methods to reconstruct past climates and climate variability will be discussed. Then different theoretical and modeling approaches to understand past climate dynamics will be presented. Finally, It will discussed how study of past climates can help to improve our understanding of future climate change. - The lecture includes two practicals. close
