This introductory course provides a comprehensive overview of the history of Korea from its foundation myth until the modern times and treats individual topics in-depth in order to impart to the students the essence of the historical development of Korea. At the same time, taking account of different perspectives of international and Korean historians this course places the history of Korea in the Eastasian and global historical context. close
