Vassanatara jataka and the Sutra of the causes and effects. We will look at part of the Vassanatara jataka (materials will be provided) and then turn to D. N. MacKenzie. The 'Sutra of the causes and effects of actions' in Sogdian. Oxford University Press 1970.
