The lecture deals with the fundamentals of the European Union, i.e. the sources of Union law, the institutional structure, legislation, implementation and legal protection as well as the relationship of Union law to the legal systems of the Member States, in particular to the Basic Law. The relevant case law of the European Court of Justice (ECJ) is discussed in context. The lecture will be continued in the summer semester as European Law II. close
