The colloquium provides all participants with information on the work planning for the final thesis in the subfield of International Politics/International Organisations and Policy Fields, in particular on the preparation of an exposé, on decisions regarding the topic delimitation, the research design and the central contribution as well as, finally, on formal aspects. We discuss different types of research question, structure and outline, the methodological approach and aspects of formal design. In addition, students attending this colloquium accompanying the writing process will have the opportunity to present their exposé and parts of the work several times and to discuss an exposé (or parts of a work) from the point of view of content, methodological and formal aspects.
