Comments

Qualification goals: evolution and paleobiogeography, vegetation types, pollen and spores, pollen identification exercises, microscopic analysis and documentation of results, principles and interpretation of pollen diagrams, application in stratigraphy, ecology and paleoclimate research. The focus is on the analysis and understanding of biodiversity changes in space and time and the reconstruction and description of the most common biomes. Methodologicall skills and creative skills for problem solving, palaeoreconstructions and knowledge transfer are developed using case studies. close
