This seminar offers an introduction to basic knowledge, methods and basic techniques of scholarly work in Arabic Studies based on the Arab cultural epoch on the Iberian Peninsula. Topics will include: the coexistence of cultures and languages; Arabic literature, poetry, philosophy and natural sciences in al-Andalus; the myth of al-Andalus. close
