WiSe 20/21: Quantum Algorithms and Cryptanalysis

In this lecture we look at the effect of quantum computers on cryptography. For that purpose we feed into the function of quantum computers first and then we analyse different cryptographic algorithms. Highlights are the presentation of the quantum algorithms of Grover (to improve cryptoanalysis of symmetrical schemes) an Shor (to improve Cryptoanalysis of schemes based on the factorisation problem and the discrete logarithm problem).
