Information for students
This course will be taught completely online.
Students seeking active participation will be expected to attend each class session, or submit a reading response paper in the event of an absence. Students will be expected to prepare for weekly discussions by reading the assigned texts and submitting a multi-media item as a potential topic for discussion into a shared folder each week. In class, participation will be based on engaging in small group work activities, and questions and comments in the larger group. close
Comments
This course aims for students to understand the fundamental debates about what a social structure is and what makes a social structure unjust. The course literature will include essays in the philosophy of social science, feminist philosophy, and critical philosophy of race.
