‘Perennial Trends and Trendy Perennials’ in English Language Teaching
This course aims to explore current trends in English Language Teaching (ELT). Thus, it extends the knowledge, competences, and skills developed in previous courses, enabling students to develop their professional expertise. It will be of interest to anyone who wishes to learn more about and critically discuss selected ‘hot topics’ in ELT, including, for example, diversity, heterogeneity, digital learning, environmental education, and the new literacies. The course provides ample opportunity for developing skills and competences useful in practice.
