Mathematical-logical thinking is essential for solving problems in computer science. Since some deficits regarding these prerequisites have became apparent in the lectures for beginners in computer science in the last years, the most important mathematical basics are repeated in the bridge course.
The main topics are: elementary set theory, relations and functions, logical basics, handling of mathematical formulas and the understanding of mathematical proofs.
