Seminar: Gender and Intersectionality in International Political Economy This course explores the relationship between states and markets and discusses the ways in which processes of globalization change power configurations within and across societies. This course aims at introducing different analytical lenses for the analysis of intersecting inequalities in the global economy. Referring to feminist, gender, intersectionality, queer, trans and postcolonial studies, the course explores complex power relations in the global economy particularly focusing at topics such as the (international) division of labour, global production, care, (re-)allocation of resources, migration and the commodification of bodies.
