Comments
The course covers a variety of topics related to the theme of International Economics, Area Studies and Comparative Development. It consists of lectures by invited guest speakers (S2, 2h) and a second part (S1, 1h) in which students read and discuss research papers that are thematically or methodologically related to the topic of each week. Grading: Research Paper (75%) and presentation (25%). Students are expected to read and prepare one paper per week. Furthermore, each student will deliver a presentation on a research paper in one of the sessions of S1. Towards the end of the semester, students will write a research paper on a topic related to the themes of the course.
