This research-oriented seminar aims at giving an overview of the transformation of political communication in Central and Eastern Europe, with a special focus on the role of the internet-based information and communication technologies in this process. How, and with what political consequences, key actors in post-communist states (political elites, civil society, and journalists) have adopted the new media technologies? Participants will explore cases of the countries of their choice and produce a podcast based on their case studies. close
