Technological impact assessment intends to make transparent how technology develops in social surroundings and which chances and risks are connected with its use.
Technological impact assessment
- analyses the impact of technology on society, environment, health, politics, economy
- focuses on potential intended as well as non-intended consequences
- tries to create options of acting and shaping future development
Within the lecture students will conduct an exemplary technological impact assessment process themselves.
