The seminar, which is offered in combination with the lecture on “English poetry: Systematics” but can be taken independently, will try and put into practice what theoretical descriptions of poetry have claimed to be typical and characteristic of poetry seen as textuality. Accordingly, it will mainly be based on actual practical analyses of what has been classified as poetry (in English) throughout the times. close
