Contents: The seminar part will introduce the participants to the concepts of analysis of ecological and evolutionary data sets. The practical part will provide training in data handling and data analysis using open-source programs and tools (R), programming (shell, python) and remote high-performance computing.
Goal: At the end of the module, students will be familiar with several basic concepts and practical applications of data analysis in ecology and evolutionary biology. The analytical and computational skills gained can be of value in a wide range of disciplines and as such can strengthen the applied skills of the participants.
