Benjamin Beuerle
Kommentar
This seminar focusses on Russia's relationship with climate change and the evolution of this relationship over time. Contributions of Soviet scientists to climate science, debates on climate change in the Russian media, consequences of climate change in and for Russia as well as the positioning of Russian politicians in national and international climate policy will all be discussed. As will become clear in the course of the seminar, climate change matters for Russia – and Russia matters for the world´s climate.
