This course explores the role and significance of domestic and global migrations in U.S. history. Themes we will cover include the histories of transatlantic mass travel in the late 19th century, anti-immigration legislation, internal migrations, migrant cultures and ethnicity, refugees, and the criminalizing of undocumented migrants since the 1980s. The course will also feature hands-on sessions to help you develop your history skills. Schließen
