In a Programming Game the player does not control the game directly but writes a program that takes over the control of one or several agents. Examples for Programming Games:
- Core War (1984) – Assembler programs competing on memory resources
- RoboCode (2001) – Robots programmed in Java fighting in an arena
- Human Resource Machine (2015) – Program little office workers and solve puzzles
In the seminar the participants will introduce one of the games, tutor the audience in trying them and evt. organize a competition. Also topics from the areas of programming Learning Platforms and Programming Competitions are eligable.
