SoSe 21: The Avesta in Sasanian and Early Islamic times

Rituals in Avestan language have been performed since Antiquity. In Sasanian times several royal attempts were made for the collection of the Avestan. In this seminary, we will compare the sources describing these efforts and try to evaluate their results.
