Comments

Participants of this course will learn about the basis and pathological mechanisms of dehydration, depletion of electrolytes, deficits of bases/acids as well as energy, anaemia and renal dysfunctions. The gained knowledge allows the development of optimal treatment regimes, which will be concretized on the basis of case studies including different species. At the end of the course participants should be able to identify dysfunctions in water and electrolyte balance and choose an optimal treatment regime. close
