Comments
The course will take place each day from the 13th to the 17st of March 2023 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Please make sure you have a valid login for the computer pools. All course material will be made available on Blackboard.
During the course we will be using MATLAB and TopoToolbox. TopoToolbox is a powerful tool for geospatial and geomorphic analysis. There will be blocks of lectures followed by labs, where the newly presented content from the lectures will be applied directly in MATLAB/TopoToolbox. Within each lab there will be questions/tasks that need to be completed and that will be graded. You will also be asked to pick a region of interest, for example for your bachelor or master thesis on which you will perform additional analysis. There will be time at the end of each day when you will be able to apply the newly learned tools/skills using your region of interest and produce maps and figures. Answering the questions during the lab and applying the new skills/tools to your area of interest will be required to obtain your "Leistungspunkte". The tentative schedule and topics are outlined below.
