Comments
The Institute for Media and Communication Studies has ten 10 divisions and many offices. Who is doing what and how?
This seminar is designed to serve as an introduction to some of the research interests of each division of the institute. We catch a glimpse of each, and learn some bits and pieces of the recurrent big ideas and research terminologies.
The course is tailored for the first-year students who would like to acclimatize themselves; to form a conceptual understanding of research, and perhaps, to shape an early-on vantage point of their own interests in years to come. To that end, students are provided with published papers which they analyze based on the gradual development of criteria such as the underlying theory, methodology and results.
