Hojye Kang
Information for students
Der Kurs findet in Engl. bzw. Koreanischer Sprache statt
Additional information / Pre-requisites
It is an introductory course to Understand North Korea as it is, and to look into their Daily Life.
There is too many information on North Korea, but it is not easy to distinguish between ‘the Direct Information’ which came from North Korea and the others.
Even though they might contain some of propaganda (or advertisement), it is needed to listen their story before making a judgement.
In this course, we will not talk much about politics and ideology. Instead, there will be a lot of talk and experience about their daily life. Economics, Science and Technology, Education, and Culture will be discussed a lot. Movie, Drama, Shopping, Food, Leisure and Work will be included.
For someone, it may feel like a weird trip to a strange country, and for others, it may feel like a virtual trip to an untouchable country.
This course was designed to help you make a broader perspective on the whole Korea.
3~5 Special Lectures by special guests will be included.
This course will be open in every semester with revised contents.
