Comments
We read and analyze texts in Jewish thought that reflect on Zionism. The goal of the seminar is to acquire a broad understanding of the varied interpretations of Zionism and to become acquainted with contemporary approaches to the study of Zionism. The readings include texts written in Jewish communities in the Islamicate World, texts written by women thinkers, as well as texts representing lesser-known approaches to Zionism in Europe. All readings are in English. close
