In this seminar students will learn how to conduct statistical analyses using Stata. Topics taught in this course include: 1. Data management, 2. Basics of Statistical Inference, 3. Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), 4. Linear Regression Analysis, 5. Logistic Regression Analysis, 6. Hierarchical Linear Modeling, 7. Creation of Publication Style Tables and Graphs, 8. (Factor Analysis and Principle Component Analysis). First each of these methods will be introduced theoretically and subsequently trained practically. Basic knowledge of Stata is beneficial. In preparation to this course and as a refresher it is recommended to work through Chapter 1 in Kohler & Kreuter (2012: 1-23). Schließen
